Poverty in the face of integration and inclusion has no effect
And so, I accept that the curse of
poverty is not hunger but rejection because hunger is part of poverty and not
poverty per se; but the curse of poverty can be qualified as rejection in the
sense that, since poverty is determined by the lack of necessary things, it can
cause a person to feel in the lack of something which is essential to his
survival, may feel rejected and this will have consequences over his entire
life that may push him to qualify as poor.
As a leader, the way I can use to help
those who have felt rejected by society to feel included, respected and
empowered is just integration and inclusion in that them, by feeling rejected,
they find it difficult to integrate into society because they qualify as poor
or in the minority according to their different categories; but when I find the
possibility to integrate them and include them in all the activities that I can
organize as a leader, that they have an opportunity to see other young people
who give them respectful consideration and that they all feel equal and able to
face any challenges that may arise in life, it can give them another form of consideration
that can ensure that they are included, respected and empowered.
It is true that most young people feel
rejected and excluded according to their different social affinities due to
their social rank (poor or rich), their tribe or ethnicity or their religion;
something that we condemn and seek at all costs to overcome as a young leader;
while bringing young people together to show them that all together no matter
how diverse or different we are, we are able to do our best to transform our
country in particular and the world in general, and make it a better place to
live.
